The chemical structure formula is amide of triiodoisophthalic acid derivative, which has low toxicity to vascular wall and nerve, good local and systemic tolerance, low osmotic pressure, low viscosity, good contrast, stable injection, and little deiodination in vivo. It is suitable for myelography and patients with high risk factors of contrast agent reaction.

Due to its high iodine content, this product can attenuate X-ray and achieve the purpose of angiography. It is suitable for X-ray angiography for intravascular injection.

In clinic, iodopalcohol is used in all kinds of angiography, such as cerebral arteriography. Angiocardiography includes coronary artery, thoracoabdominal artery, peripheral artery, vein and digital subtraction angiography. Selective arteriography of urinary tract, joints, fistulas, spinal cord, cisterns and ventricles, and selective visceral arteriography. CT scan was enhanced.
